Mikros Animation Paris’ teams under the Mikroscope! We asked them 8 questions so that you can get to know them, their world and their successes. At the end, they in turn pass the baton to one of their colleagues so that another person can answer the same questions!

Our Head of Crew Management at Mikros Animation takes her turn to answer the 8 questions: go Pauline Diou Georges:

What is the best part of your job?
It’s being able to use my experience as Production Manager to work with our great team crewing at Mikros Animation to listen, guide and help develop the teams’ careers on productions within the studio 😊

What was the first project you worked on when you joined Mikros Animation?
It’s The Tiger’s Apprentice!

Share your student and professional path to your position at Mikros Animation!
I started my student career with a Master’s degree in Economic and Commercial Translation at the University of Montreal.
With my diploma in hand, I started my career as a management assistant in various companies such as France TV International/Eurosport/Attitude Studio. I then moved on to work as an international sales representative for Xilam and then was hired as a Production Manager at TeamTo.
In 2019, I became Production Manager at Gaumont Animation in series and in the Development department. For more than two years now, I have been Head of Crew Management at Mikros Animation in Paris!

What inspires you or who inspires you?
The cinema, animation and music of the 80s 😊

If you had to be a character in Mikros Animation’s films and series, who would you be?
Cubitus in the film Asterix: The Mansion of The Gods!

Your biggest achievement so far?
To manage to make animation my job, with a degree that did not predestine me to it. Just goes to show, when you want it, you can do it 😉 That’s the beauty of the animation world!

What would be your superpower?
Tele-transport me wherever I want in a snap!

What advice would you give to your younger self? 
Enjoy! The journey is beautiful and paved with endearing people!
