SVOD Viaplay has taken exclusive streaming rights for more than 400 episodes from kids and family series, including several DreamWorks Animation shows, after inking a deal with NBCUniversal Global Distribution.
Starting in spring 2022, Viaplay will have exclusive streaming rights to NBCUniversal’s children and family portfolio across the Nordics, Netherlands and Poland.
The multi-year content deal with NBCU includes TV spin-offs from several hit DreamWorks movies, with shows including Dragons: The Nine Realms and The Croods: Family Tree, to which our teams in Bangalore have closely collaborated.
On Dragons : The Nine Realms, our team provided extensive animation and on THE CROODS: FAMILY TREE, our team crafted assets and animated the show, in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation.
